Ø  St. Andrew Charitable Giving: so far this year, we have disbursed $3,420 for utilities and Ingles cards

Ø  Andrea Sutton arranged for us to receive an AED device at St. Andrew. It is to be mounted on the front porch. Matthew Papay will give a short demonstration on how to use it on Sunday the 30^th, immediately after Mass.

Ø  The Food Fundraisers at Sacred Heart have been very successful! Please continue to support the parish fundraising events.

FAITH FORMATION AT ST. ANDREW

Faith Formation classes for children will begin on September 13^th immediately after Mass. All children in K-8^th grade must attend.

Confirmation class begins on September 9^th at 6 pm.

Adult Faith Formation meetings resume the week of September 9^th.

OCIA class will have an introductory meeting on August 25^th at 6 pm.

FORMACIÓN EN LA FE EN SAN ANDRÉS

Las clases de Formación en la Fe para niños comenzarán el 13 de septiembre inmediatamente después de la Misa. Todos los niños de Kínder a 8º grado deben asistir.

UPCOMING SECOND COLLECTIONS

On the weekend of August 29–30, our parish will take up a special second collection to

support both Belmont Abbey College and The Catholic University of America, with

undesignated gifts shared equally between the two institutions. As the only Catholic

college serving the Carolinas and neighboring states, Belmont Abbey College has been

forming faithful Catholic leaders for 150 years, and this year's collection will help

establish an endowment to provide tuition assistance for Catholic students from the

Diocese of Charlotte. Thank you for your prayerful generosity in supporting both our

local Catholic college and the national university of the Catholic Church in the United

States.

regalos no designados compartidos por igual entre ambas instituciones. Como el único católico

Colegio que atiende a las Carolinas y estados vecinos, Belmont Abbey College ha sido

formando líderes católicos fieles durante 150 años, y este año' S te ayudará

establecer un fondo de dotación para proporcionar asistencia en colegiatura a estudiantes católicos de la

Diócesis de Charlotte. Gracias por su generosidad en oración apoyando a ambos
