About Our Parish

     St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Mars Hill and its mission church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Burnsville, cover 764 square miles in Western North Carolina. As the Roman Catholic presence in Madison and Yancey Counties, we endeavor to be the presence of Christ in our service to each other and strive to grow in our Catholic faith through celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

Safe Environment training 

Did you know that ALL clergy, religious, seminarians, employees, and volunteers are required to complete a background check and safe environment abuse prevention and education training? And once safe environment certified, annual renewal training is required.
